In Dead Air, Mackenzie heads to prison. Plus, a new micro story is published for Microfiction Monday!
Mackenzie Walker wasn’t planning on using her college radio show to solve a decades-old murder, but then she receives an anonymous tip that the wrong man may have taken the fall.
Read or listen to weekly ebook and audio episodes of the serial novel Dead Air and then check out Mackenzie’s podcast for a uniquely immersive experience. Does the truth lie in the serial, the podcast . . . or somewhere in-between?
Mackenzie Walker has lost her college radio show, and she’s convinced the order to pull the plug came from powerful forces hoping to put an end to her investigation into the murder of Peg Graham. Someone clearly doesn’t want the truth behind Peg’s death getting out. Rather than being cowed, Mackenzie takes this new development as proof she’s onto something and resolves to continue hershow as a podcast. Things start looking up when she receives an invite to the state penitentiary to interview the man who confessed to murdering Peg. But her excitement is short lived once her anonymity is threatened and she discovers something about Ryan that makes her wonder if she can trust him after all.
