Bookburners Season 4

Everything in the Bookburners’ lives falls into two categories: Before London and After London. Episode 2: More Questions than Answers by Carrie Ryan

Mackenzie Walker dives head-first into her investigation of the eighteen-year-old murder of Peg Graham. She has a box of documents from the police, and a sort-of partner — Peg's now-adult son Ryan who has his own questions about the night of his mother’s death. Namely, how he remembers hearing a gunshot when he was nowhere near the site of the crime. He's eager to help, but working with him gets complicated fast, especially given that Mackenzie’s first suspect is Ryan’s father. And that she’s developing a crush on Ryan himself. The investigation takes priority, though, and Mackenzie uses the second episode of her radio show to call Ryan’s father’s alibi into question, painting him as a suspect in Peg’s murder. Too bad there's no rewind button on live radio. If you haven't read episode one, you can read it for free now! What did you think of the episode? Let us know in the comments or review it on Goodreads.
