Every story has a rock bottom. You know, the moment where things are at their most dire. The moment when the magic sword breaks, or the MC’s one true love decides to move to Kankakee, or the last ditch escape vehicle dies right in the middle of a horde of zombies. There’s that moment when things get really bad, and it seems like there’s just no hope.
wenda Bond writes for children and young adults. Her books include Luis Lane: Fallout, Girl on a Wire, and Girl in the Shadows, as well as the graphic novel Girl Over Paris with Kate Leth and Ming Doyle. She holds an MFA in writing from the Vermont College of Fine Arts and has written for Publishers Weekly, the Los Angeles Times, and the Washington Post amongst others.
