SAGA Press to Publish Serial Box Titles

We are very excited to announce that SAGA Press, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, will publish the first seasons of our first three serials as print editions! Like TV series, Serial Box releases weekly “episodes” of each serial on its website, through its app and major e-book and audio book platforms. SAGA Press will publish the full season of Serial Box’s first three serials as print editions after their initial Serial Box run.The first title will be BOOKBURNERS, to be published in Fall 2016. BOOKBURNERS is an urban fantasy adventure following a black-ops anti-magic squad employed by the Vatican. Creator Max Gladstone leads the writers’ room which includes Brian Francis Slattery, Mur Lafferty, and Margaret Dunlap.TREMONTAINE, a fantasy serial set in Ellen Kushner’s beloved Riverside universe and the prequel to the cult-classicSwordspoint, will follow in Spring 2017. Kushner is the creator and the writing team includes Joel Derfner, Malinda Lo, Alaya Dawn Johnson, Racheline Maltese, and Patty Bryant. THE WITCH WHO CAME IN FROM THE COLD, a gripping Cold War espionage thriller set in 1970s Prague, will follow in Summer 2017, and is created by Lindsay Smith and Max Gladstone, alongside Cassandra Rose Clarke, Ian Tregillis, and Michael Swanwick.All of the Serial Box print editions will be edited by Navah Wolfe, Editor at SAGA Press, who acquired North American print rights.
